Diskgolf at Sortland 🥏

Looking for an activity that’s fun for both kids and adults? From Sortland Camping, you can walk straight into Sortlandsmarka and on to Sortland Disc Golf Course – a great 20-hole course in beautiful surroundings. It’s free to play, and if you don’t have your own equipment, you can rent discs from us at the campsite.

That makes disc golf an easy activity to fit into your day, whether you’re staying with us, travelling through Vesterålen or simply feel like spending some time outdoors in Sortlandsmarka.

20 holes – or a shorter round

Sortland Camping works together with Sortland Disc Golf Club, which is responsible for the course. The full round is around 4.5 kilometres long, but you don’t have to play all 20 holes. There are also shorter 7- and 11-hole options.

It’s just as suitable for first-timers as it is for those who already enjoy disc golf. Along the way, you get fresh air, a little friendly competition and a lovely walk through Sortlandsmarka.

Easy to give it a try

You don’t need much experience to get started with and have fun with disc golf. The aim is simply to get from the tee to the basket in as few throws as possible – you’ll quickly get the hang of the rest.

And because the course is within walking distance of Sortland Camping, it’s easy to head out for a spontaneous round. Not staying with us? You’re of course just as welcome to enjoy the course and the surrounding area.

A pretty good way to finish the round

After a few kilometres in Sortlandsmarka, something cold tends to taste even better. If you head back via the campsite, you can round off your trip with a well-deserved ice cream from Campis. 🍦
